ADVOCACY
In addition to her work as a playwright and performer, Nora had a decade-long career as a full-time redistributionist. In other words, Nora worked in fundraising for a number of non-profit performing arts organizations and spent years gathering resources from foundations, corporations, and major donors and reallocating those resources to artists. Although she managed to escape the non-profit industrial complex in 2022, Nora has continued to fundraise and advocate for artists on a project-by-project basis, either as a paid consultant for a flexible fee or just as a comrade who's in it for the thrill of supporting subversive art.
EDUCATION
Nora's other great passion is teaching. In recent years, she's worked with students at the college level as a guest artist at two universities, where she collaborated with young theatremakers to bring new work to life, and as an adjunct professor, teaching Theatre History, Script Analysis, and a unique course called American Drama and the American Economy, which examined the impact of economic conditions on new play development over the last hundred years.
